The General Discussion Board for all things Go-4
Very Nice, I have mine plastered all over the site right now. Looking to take in more pictures from members.
It's great to find this site since I don't do FB or the likeÂ
Thanks for doing this.Â
- I've had my '03 Gopher for 2 1/2 years now and still enjoy driving it. It is my daily driver.Â
Longest distance so far is from San Diego to Virginia City, NV and back.
Not as long as Chris but long enough for me.
@donh Nice! Glad to have you here Don! Chris says youre here in SD, I'm up on the way to Julian.
@triforce1 I actually do that ride quite a bit just for fun. I go I-8 to Japatul Rd to Cuyamaca, around the lake and up to Mt Laguna. I usually stop at the Laguna store and BS with the guys up there for awhile After that I sometimes go back through Julian. It's a nice ride in a Gopher. Just be careful of the turns. Gophers tend to fishtail if you take a turn to fast
@stranger-fings wow, the exoskeleton model. Those are cool.
I was awarded this really cool coin after completing a 1200 mile trip in the Go-4.
San Diego to Virginia City, Nevada and back. It was a fun trip. A buddy of mine had a Go-4 at the time. We did the trip in a few days. Stopping in Lone Pine and a couple of days in the town of June Lake. That was base for a few days. From there we trekked to Virginia City for a day. Maybe some of you have been to the ranches just outside of Carson City.
The trip home was long. Had to open the right door and stretch the throttle leg. My knee would really start to ache. I would use the left leg for throttle and sit kind of sidesaddle for about 10 miles then switch back.
Stopped by one of the many ranches near Virginia City.
Didn't see any herefords on that day. Must have been out to pasture 🙂Â
My go 4 towdercycle
@jonchapman that rig is sweet!
Is it actually towing that little kart?
